Artist’s bio
Kevin Anderson, since his early childhood and formative years in Valencia, Venezuela and Boston, United States, has been fascinated by the diverse and vast beauty of our world, especially the beauty that emanates from a human being and the natural landscape that surround us.
He uses classical realism drawing and painting principles and techniques as the foundation for his work. As a student of art history, he is heavily influenced by the old masters like Manet, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Kupka, Mucha, Henri as well as many of the contemporary painters, sculptors alive today.
For Kevin, the art is to then translate, render and capture that feeling, emotion, personality, and/or the ambiance of that person, subject, or that location onto the canvas, linen, copper, or paper.
Kevin is based in the United States in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and visits his former home in Atlanta frequently, and traveling as much as possible.
