Artist’s bio

Brenn creates vibrant paintings inspired by moments captured through her camera lens—from serene lily pads and ocean scenes to expressive florals.

Her work is designed to evoke joy and bring a smile to those who experience it. Her paintings emerge through an intuitive and spontaneous process, using layered brushstrokes, bold color, and experimental techniques to create texture, movement, and emotion. Inspired by beauty of nature, each piece reflects a dynamic sense of energy and connection.

Art and design have always been part of Brenn’s life. She began decorating her grandmother’s home at age five and later designed multi-million-dollar residences before becoming a full-time artist.

Brenn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Missouri State University.

Artist’s statement

My paintings begin with a moment of connection—often something I’ve captured through my camera lens: the quiet rhythm of lily pads, shifting coastal light, or the expressive movement of florals. These observed moments become a starting point rather than a blueprint, evolving through an intuitive process of layering acrylic paint, mixed media, texture, and spontaneous mark-making.

I am drawn to the energy of nature—its movement, depth, and fleeting beauty—and aim to translate that feeling rather than simply recreate an image. Through bold color, layered surfaces, and tactile elements, I create work that invites both visual and emotional engagement.

With a background in art and design, including years designing luxury residential interiors, I bring a strong sense of composition, balance, and atmosphere to my paintings. My work is intended to create a sense of joy,connection, and presence—pieces that feel both vibrant and timeless within the spaces they inhabit.
