Jillian Tomkovich

Artist’s bio

Jillian “JBeans” Tomkovich—creative director at Vision Arts Gallery—is a fiercely imaginative and accomplished artist whose work embodies her mantra, “There is No Still in Life.” A lifelong creator, she transforms movement, story, and spirit into richly expressive art that captivates audiences and honors the cultures that inspire her. From early award-winning graphite portraits to the vibrant, textured mixed-media work she is known for today, Jillian’s artistry has always been rooted in intuition and an unrelenting creative drive. She has taught and mentored budding artists, turned her Victorian home into a bustling studio for community creativity, and later immersed herself in the Navajo art tradition—producing intricately adorned long-horned cow skulls that have been featured in galleries from Sedona to Tombstone and collected nationwide. As the creative force behind Vision Arts Academy, Jillian shapes the studio’s energy, imagination, and forward-thinking vision, inspiring others to explore, express, and live art fully.
