This class covers alla prima techniques, basic color theory, mixing cool and warm colors, and how to create depth and form using values. Each student will complete a painting by the end of the session, working from a simple still life. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to strengthen foundational skills.

All basic supplies including oil paints, brushes, and canvas are provided by the instructor. Students will be given a list of brushes to bring, as well as a sketchbook and pencil.

Vision Arts Gallery is pleased to present a special Trunk Show by Runway 45 on September 20, 2025. We met clothing artist Cara Morris and fell in love with her unique boho style clothing that she custom creates. In her own words: "My designs are for free-spirited women who want layering styles with an easy fit. Most of my styles are self-taught patterns inspired by my dance background and the icon Stevie Nicks."
