From October 15 - November 1, our gallery will be transformed into an enchanting realm of spells, symbols, and supernatural artistry. Expect artwork that conjures the spirit of the season — from witches and warlocks to black cats, potions, crystals, ravens, full moons, and mystical forces from the beyond.
Every piece tells a story, and some might even hold a clue in the mysterious whodunit unfolding across the four participating galleries.

Learn the fundamentals of oil painting in a relaxed and supportive environment. This class covers alla prima techniques, basic color theory, mixing cool and warm colors, and how to create depth and form using values. Each student will complete a painting by the end of the session, working from a simple still life. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to strengthen foundational skills.

Vision Arts Gallery will host its official ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. at 519 Broadway Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588. The public is warmly invited to attend the celebration, meet the founders, and tour the gallery’s exhibitions and creative classrooms. A brief program and ribbon cutting will be followed by light refreshments and mingling with artists.
Located in Myrtle Beach’s Arts & Innovation District, Vision Arts Gallery features rotating exhibitions, workshops for all levels, trunk shows, artist talks, and community events. The gallery’s curatorial focus highlights color, design principles, and stories of transformation—reflecting the founders’ belief that art changes lives.

This class covers alla prima techniques, basic color theory, mixing cool and warm colors, and how to create depth and form using values. Each student will complete a painting by the end of the session, working from a simple still life. Perfect for beginners or those wanting to strengthen foundational skills.

All basic supplies including oil paints, brushes, and canvas are provided by the instructor. Students will be given a list of brushes to bring, as well as a sketchbook and pencil.

Artist Trading Card Workshop w/Marlene Davis
ATC's are small artforms that have become very popular since their creation in 1997. Students will be using a variety of materials such as paper scraps, old magazines, and fabrics to create trading cards that are 2.5" by 3.5". The ATCs are never sold but can be traded or given away as small tokens.
Supplies include old magazines, scrap paper, small flat embellishments, bits of fabric, etc. Also needed are scissors, glue, ATC blanks, paint, brushes, and water containers. The instructor will supply all materials and supplies. Students may want to bring materials and supplies they want to add to their artwork.
All skill levels. Adults only.
