You'll explore how to develop or reproduce a design, scale it to fit your project, and create workable patterns for mosaic construction. We'll also cover the fundamentals of composition—including space, line, shape, and background—as well as the basics of the color wheel and how color combinations influence the overall impact of your artwork.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to design their own mosaics with greater confidence and creativity.

Participants are encouraged to bring a project idea and their own tiles. Please contact the instructor before class for guidance on selecting appropriate materials.
