Join artist/instructor, Kevin Anderson for a course focused on drawing the human figure using a classical technique with a live demonstrations and practical application of the concepts using a live model. 

​We will practice the classical concepts and techniques of the old masters to work on composition, proportion block-in, and form/volume building. We will use these learned techniques to bring our drawing in pencil, charcoal, pastel, and paint to the next level of artistic expression.

  • ​​​​​When: We meet for 5 hours per month from 9am-2pm, beginning Saturday June 20th, 2026 (then the 3rd Saturday of each month)

Who should take the class?

Anyone who wants instruction on how to classically draw (or paint) the human figure. The class is set up for students who want to devote time in 2026 to significantly improve their skills and to be able to execute figure drawings with much more confidence.

  1. Instruction. Classical figure drawing terms, concepts, technique. Explained using original artwork and by the study of old masters.

Immerse yourself in the relaxing and rewarding art of mosaics during this special two-day workshop experience with mosaic artist Lisa Falzone.

Inspired by coastal colors, sea glass tones, and organic textures, this beautiful mosaic tray combines artistic design with functional art. Over the course of two creative sessions, you’ll design and complete a stunning round serving tray using an assortment of mosaic tiles, glass pieces, stones, and decorative elements arranged in a flowing coastal-inspired pattern.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a stunning 6” x 12” fused glass dish using vibrant red, white, and blue glass elements arranged in your own unique design. Guided step-by-step by fused glass artist Lori King, you’ll learn the basics of glass composition, layering, spacing, and design while exploring the beautiful process of kiln-formed glass art.

After the workshop, your piece will be professionally fired and slumped into a functional decorative platter ready for display or entertaining.
